Police are asking for the public's help finding a man they say committed a string of bizarre robberies in the Bronx.

Investigators say over the past two months, the man seen here has robbed three stores by threatening employees with a hypodermic needle.

The first incident happened in December at a Duane Reade on Southern Boulevard in Foxhurst, while the most recent incident happened at a Dollar Tree on Hunts Point Avenue in Hunts Point.

Police say in each case, he entered the store and began taking items off the shelves, sometimes putting them in his jacket pockets.

When he was confronted by employees, they say he threatened to stab them.

He has made off with at least $170 worth of merchandise.

Anyone with information on the case should contact the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS, or text CRIMES and then enter TIP577, or visit www.nypdcrimestoppers.com.
