Residents at an Upper West Side building are using their windows to protest the Trump administration's policies.

Tenants at 415 Central Park West have decorated them with signs saying "Resist" and "Justice Now."

Neighbors say the demonstration isn't directed at a particular person, but say participants feel compelled to push back against the current political climate.

"It's very important to support people and speak out for those people who are afraid to or who feel that they are unable to, particularly immigrants and Muslims," said one person at the building.

"We have to remember that participation and resistance is a cornerstone of democracy, and so is the media. So whatever Trump says about activism or the media, we have to really take that with a big grain of salt," said another.

Residents say the signs will be up through the weekend unless the board forces people to take them down.
