Police are investigating after a woman falls to her death at the World Trade Center transportation hub.
The incident happened around 5:30 a.m. Saturday.
Port Authority officials say the 29-year-old was trying to retrieve a hat when she fell 30 feet off an escalator inside the Oculus.
She was taken to Bellevue Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The Oculus first opened its doors last March.
