Police are asking for the public's help finding a missing Manhattan man.

Brian Wilson, 26, was last seen leaving the Wagner Houses in East Harlem on December 26.

Wilson's mom Sharona Gails says he just started a new security guard job the day before.

Wilson played basketball throughout high school and college.

Gails says the family misses him dearly and just want him back home.

"He's a wonderful big brother. He's a wonderful son, a protector," she said. "The community knows him. They know him as Giant. That’s his nickname they gave him because he loves basketball, and he did the first dunk in the Kinnie Hutch tournament when he was 10 years old."

Gails says Wilson suffers from depression.

He is described as 6 feet, 7 inches tall and weighing 245 pounds.

He was last seen wearing a black pea coat, a black hat and Timberland boots.
