A man is under arrest after police say he tried to rape a woman inside her Brooklyn apartment building on New Year's Day.
Police say 18-year old Marck Beaubrun followed the 22-year old victim into the building's elevator, then grabbed her and threw her to the ground.
It happened on New Year's Day at about 10:30 p.m. in Ditmas Park.
Police say she called out for help, and when the elevator doors opened, police say he ran away.
Beaubrun is facing several charges, including rape, robbery and assault.
