The long-awaited makeover for Staten Island's North Shore may be closer to reality.
The city's Economic Development Corporation released its final traffic assessment report for the area. It also looked at surrounding neighborhoods.
The study calls for more rush-hour regulation near the ferry pier including more street signs, traffic agents, and lanes for bikes, cars, and pedestrians.
The city's transportation department said those changes will ease congestion around the area.
