It may already be a couple of days in to 2017 but it's never to late to make a new years resolution.

Each year millions promise to make a change in the coming year whether it's weight loss or a new job.

NY1 hit the streets Monday to ask New Yorkers what some of their resolutions were.

"This year, I want to be more healthy. I want to be a better person and I want to be more kind," said one New Yorker.

"After a few weeks, you just get kind of lazy and go back into the same routine. Hopefully 2017 will be different," said another New Yorker.

"I haven't made one for over two decades," added a third New Yorker.

No matter where you stand on New Year's Resolutions, it's safe to say that we all hope this year turns out better than the last.
