A water main break shut down a street in Queens early Tuesday morning.
The break happened around 3 a.m. on 72nd Avenue near 136th Street in Kew Gardens Hills.
While no water was visible on the road surface, crews had to close 72nd Avenue between 136th Street and 141st Street to make repairs.
The Department of Environmental Protection says a new valve is being installed in the water main.
