An NYPD trial is set to begin for the officer who killed an unarmed teenager inside his Bronx home.

Richard Haste was one of the cops following 18-year-old Ramarley Graham back in February 2012, believing he was involved in a drug deal.

The officers chased Graham to his apartment in Wakefield, where Haste fatally shot him.

They believed Graham was armed, but no gun was ever found.

Last week, the NYPD advocate prosecuting Haste discussed what to expect at the trial.

"We will be presenting evidence that reflects on the tactics employed by Police Officer Haste on that February day in 2012," said Kevin Richardson. "And through the course of that case, we will have witnesses come in and they will testify regarding what tactics were used by Police Officer Haste which we believe the judge will look at to make an appropriate finding."

Haste has been on modified duty and stripped of his gun and badge.

If found guilty, he could be fired from the department.
