A 3-month-old girl who was found unconscious with a spinal fracture and broken bones in a Bronx apartment last week has died, an attorney for her mother says.
Sherlin Camacho died just before 7:15 a.m. Monday, according to Jessica Cuadrano, the attorney for Katherine Plasencia, who is the child's mother.
Authorities say Camacho was found with several broken bones, a spinal fracture, and damage to her eye at 2115 Honeywell Avenue in West Farms Tuesday morning.
The Administration for Child Services is investigating the incident.
So far, no charges have been filed.
Police last week said they were questioning the mother, father and brother of the infant girl.
