The New York Police Department arrested a man in connection to a home invasion in Queens that left a husband and wife badly hurt.

Investigators say 24-year-old Shae Roberts was arrested at his mother's residence on Mathias Avenue in Jamaica.

That's the same street where investigators say he and another man forced their way into the home of state corrections officer Henry Wright and Shannon Floyd-Wright last month.

Police say the two opened fire on the couple, hitting the husband five times and the wife once; she was released from the hospital.

Roberts is charged with attempted murder and criminal possession of a weapon.

The other shooter has not yet been caught, according to police.

Police released surveillance of a light-colored Hyundai Elantra they believe was used by one of the shooters.
