Not everyone wants to be in Times Square on New Year’s Eve, or wait up until midnight, so a Queens venue decided to host their own daylong celebration.

Resorts World Casino kicked off its New Year’s Eve Celebration on Saturday at 11: 30 a.m.

They picked that time for a very specific reason.

As, this year's theme was an “International New Year’s” by noon on Saturday, several cities across the globe had already welcomed in 2017.

With that in mind, the casino brought in several themed performances which debuted as those countries rang in the New Year.

Among the countries represented in a series of performances were China, India, Russia and Italy.

"We have so many different people that come here every single demographic, every age group, every ethnicity, so we want to make sure everybody feels welcome here," said event organizer Michael Savino.

All the day’s performances, before 9 p.m., were free for the public to attend.

"It's wonderful! It's just kinda like oh! It lightens everything up," said casino visitor Michele Boyle.

The festivities wrap up at 2 a.m. on January 1st.

Among some of the other special guests scheduled to make appearances at the celebration included Vincent Pastore from “The Sopranos”.
