A Queens police officer donated nearly 2 feet of her hair Thursday night for a good cause.
Officer Sandra Manani-Campos chopped 22 inches of her locks off at a fundraiser in Ridgewood for the American Cancer Society.
The hair will be turned into a wig and donated to a cancer patient.
"God gave me this beautiful hair, a lot of hair, a lot of volume," Manani-Campos said. "This gift is pretty much for life, so I wanted to share it with somebody else that needs it more than I do."
