Christmas Eve got a bit hairy in Manhattan as thieves break into a fur store.
Police say the burglars used a cobblestone to shatter the glass door of Dennis Basso.
The shop is located on Madison Avenue near 69th Street on the Upper East Side.
It happened around 5 a.m. Saturday morning.
The manager did not want to go on camera, but did share what it was like when he arrived.
"Came there and I found the door smashed and the police were here already," the manager said. "There were glass everywhere in the store and a lot of hangers there on the floor and most of the expensive coats were missing."
The store is still auditing its inventory and has not put a price on the stolen goods.
