Police are searching for two people in connection with a multiple stabbing in Times Square on Sunday morning.

Investigators said a man stabbed two 25-year-old men around 4 a.m. near 8th Ave. and 42nd St.

One victim was stabbed in the chest, police said, and the other in the neck and shoulder. Both are recovering at a local hospital.

Police said the attacker was in his 20s, and a woman around the same age accompanied him. They both fled the scene.

Tourists in the area told NY1 that the news shocked them.

"People seem so friendly down here," one woman in the area said. "They're [saying] 'Good morning' and 'Hello,' but then you hear about, right across the street, a stabbing? That is terrifying."

Police said the man they are searching for was last seen wearing a dark shirt and jeans, and the woman was wearing a beige jacket.
