Sources tell NY1 the woman who says she was wrongly arrested while nearly naked outside her Brooklyn home has been acquitted of all charges.

Denise Stewart says several officers of the New York Police Department burst into her Brownsville apartment in 2014 and dragged her out only in her underwear.

Neighbors recorded the incident on cell phones.

Cops say they were responding to a call that Stewart was beating her daughter.

They also say Stewart attacked them.

Stewart and her family say police made up the story to protect themselves after mistakenly arresting the entire family.

Stewart had faced several felony and misdemeanor charges.

Her felony charges were dismissed, but the Brooklyn District Attorney's office did not drop the misdemeanor assault counts.

Stewart and her lawyer said she is innocent and filed a civil lawsuit against the city and NYPD.
