A Queens student wins a prestigous award.
Faiza Masood of Middle Village is the receipent of a Marshall Scolarship.
She's the fourth daughter of Pakistani immigrants and studies religion at Hunter College.
The Marshall Scholarship will enable her to earn a Master’s degree at the University of London beginning in the fall of 2017.
After that, Masood plans to enter a PhD program to become a scholar in Islamic Studies.
