Police arrested a man they say attacked an Upper East Side woman in her building last Friday night.
54-year-old Clarence Copeland of the Bronx is now facing robbery charges after surveillance video surfaced that cops say shows him punching the victim and stealing her phone.
Investigators say he followed the 54-year-old woman into her building near East 67th Street and demanded her bag.
The woman eventually gave it to him after the attack.
She was treated for cuts and bruises to her face.
