Authorities arrested five people they say were literally 'trafficking' cocaine in Brooklyn.

Prosecutors say 49-year-old Edgar Rodriguez headed a drug delivery service in East New York and Bushwick.

They say Rodriguez oversaw a fleet of registered livery cars that took on no fares, and only delivered narcotics.

The operation made about $28,000 dollars a week.

Authorities say they seized around $300,000 in cash, a handgun, and nearly two pounds of cocaine from Rodriguez's home in Farmingdale, Long Island.

Prosecutors announced on Monday that Rodriguez and four others were arrested last month.

They were charged with conspiracy, weapon possession, and drug trafficking.
