A woman helps police arrest her ex-boyfriend after he allegedly beat and stabbed her near Brooklyn Bridge Park.

Investigators say it started Friday night around 7 p.m., when Fernando Perez argued with the victim, demanding she take him back.

He then allegedly punched, choked, and stabbed her in her arm before running away. Cops say the woman called Perez and arranged a meet up just a few blocks away later that night, where officers arrested him.

He is charged with assault, strangulation, grand larceny, and criminal possession of a weapon.
