City artists come together for an anti-Trump candlelight vigil in SoHo appealing to the President-elect's daughter.

The event was organized by a group called "Call to Action" — a coalition of artists, writers, and other creative people.

They say they wanted to voice their concerns over Trump's cabinet appointments and announced plans.

They called their protest "Dear Ivanka" because they say she and her husband have bought artwork from some of those at the vigil.

"Talk to your dad," said curator Nessia Pope. "You know your dad is scary. Your dad is wrong. Your dad doesn't know what he's doing right now."

"Given the fact that her father and she herself use her appealing image to convince us that it's all normal, that everything is ok," said writer and curator Alison Gingeras." We actually don't think that's true in terms of the types of political appointments he's made."

Organizers say they're worried about what we could see in a Trump administration once he's inaugurated in January.
