A child is in serious condition after getting hurt in an early morning fire Friday in Queens.

Fire officials say two adults also suffered minor injuries.

All are said to be smoke related.

The fire broke out around 1:30 a.m. at an apartment at the Pomonok Houses on Parsons Boulevard.

It was under control an hour later.

"The smoke was so intense, thank God we don't get trapped inside," said said one tenant.

"I was asleep. My boyfriend came over; he had knocked on my door and told me there was a fire. So I went back in and got my kids up. I got two kids, and I got them out safely," said another tenant.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
