Police are looking for a man they say burglarized two Bronx apartments while impersonating law enforcement.

Police say a woman came home and found the man seen above taking thousands of dollars in jewelry.

According to police, the man told her he was a police officer conducting an investigation, then ran off when she tried to stop him.

That happened on September 9 near Fuller and Seddon streets in Westchester Square, police say.

About a month later, authorities say he was caught breaking into an apartment in North Riverdale.

Investigators say he told the victim he was a drug enforcement agent who was searching for narcotics, then fled with several watches.

The man is described as about 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighing around 200 pounds.
