City and State released its list of the most influential leaders in Queens — and NY1's Rushcell Boone makes the cut.

Our Queens reporter is ranked number 35 on the weekly publication's top 50 list for the borough.

She's in the company of movers and shakers like Queens Library CEO Dennis Walcott, who tops the list, as well as the founders of the production house, Silvercup Studios.

We asked Ruschell how she feels about making the grade.

"It's a really great honor. I was very surprised to hear that I was on this list, but of course I work very hard for the people in this borough, so it's great to be recognized," Boone said. "I'm glad that people appreciate my work, and appreciate what we do here at NY1."

"I'm just an extension of all of our staff members, and board members, and the library itself," said Library CEO Walcott. "Anything we can do to advance the library and the importance what library services mean to our community, to me, is outstanding."

The ranking does not include elected officials, and in order to make the list, honorees must live in Queens.
