NEW YORK - Workers will soon be decking the halls at Rockefeller Center with a tall order from upstate.

A Norway Spruce from Oneonta, N.Y. has been selected to serve as the 2016 Christmas tree.

Crews are set to chop the spruce down on November 10 and bring it back to the city two days later.

It will then be decorated in more than 50,000 lights and topped with a Swarovski crystal star.

The annual tree lighting will take place on November 30.
