A newly reopened 3 train subway stop in Brooklyn is shutting down again after a truck crashed into the station structure Thursday morning.

The MTA says the accident significantly damaged Pennsylvania Avenue Station, and it could take up to a month to repair it.

The train will be out of service in both directions between New Lots Avenue and Crown Heights-Utica Avenue.

Pennsylvania Avenue had just reopened in September after being shut down for months of repairs.

The disruption is all too familiar to local straphangers.

"I take this 3 train every day back and forth to work every day. Now, the community is going to suffer. We just got the train back," said one commuter.

"My daughter takes this train to go to school and it's very inconvenient that it's closed, very inconvenient. Then, she has to go to another train station to grab the 3 train," said another commuter. "And I didn't even know it was closed again. This is very bad."

For service to and from Pennsylvania Ave, the MTA says riders can use free shuttle buses running between Pennsylvania Avenue and the Van Siclen Avenue station at all hours.
