Students at Queens College are celebrating their first ever Arts Festival, which starts this weekend.

Composed entirely of CUNY student work. There will be different photo and fashion installations.

You can also expect dance, opera and a creative tribute to wrestling.

Student producers hope that festivals like these will help put young artists on the map.

"I feel like if there were more festivals such as this, it'll be easier for students to create a name for themselves even before they graduate, " Dolores Diaz, Student Producer of the Queens College Arts Festival, said.

"A lot of people come to the Kupferberg Center, especially, and see big name acts and we are a college and we have a lot of great student art here too," Audrey Edelstein, Student Producer of the Queens College Arts Festival, said.

The festival runs from noon to six through Monday.
