A Brooklyn woman has pleaded guilty in the death of her 2-year-old daughter in a fire earlier this year.
Leila Aquino, 21, was convicted on a criminally negligent homicide charge.
The Brooklyn DA's office says she left her child alone at their Bedford-Stuyvesant apartment on the morning of February 23.
The little girl was found unconscious under a bed.
Aquino will not be serving jail time. Officials say she faces three years of probation after she completes a program.
