Jazz fans won't necessarily be taking the A train to the latest festival to hit Brooklyn.

There are just two nights left in the BRIC Jazz Festival, hosted at the BRIC performance space in Fort Greene.

It features three rooms, with multiple shows going on simultaneously allowing visitors to experience a variety of jazz performances.

Organizers say the event looks to bring big names while highlighting local talent.

"The idea was really bring a lot of these younger voices, younger musicians in, give them a platform, and pair them up with some legendary musicians. Brooklyn is a place where jazz has had a foothold for a long time," said BRIC Vice President of Performing Arts Jack Walsh.

"When I first moved to New York in 2000, I lived walking distance from here. So this is a home base for me, this show is really special," said Taylor McFerrin, a musician.

Legendary Latin jazz pianist and Bronx native Eddie Palmieri is headlining the festival tonight.
