NEW YORK - Legendary civil rights attorney Jack Greenberg has died.

The NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund says he passed away Wednesday at his Manhattan home.

Greenberg was the last living attorney of those who argued the landmark Brown versus Board of Education case before the U.S. Supreme Court

The court's decision ended racial segregation in the country's public schools.

Greenberg also represented Martin Luther King and other civil rights activists during his career.

Jack Greenberg was 91 years old.
