The NYPD Hate Crimes Unit says it's investigating a slashing inside a Chelsea deli.
Police say the man dressed in black in the above surveillance video said anti-white obscenities to the man before slashing him on his arm and running off.
It happened near Ninth Avenue and West 25th Street around 6 a.m. Friday.
Police say the victim was on his way to the subway station when the alleged attacker followed him into the store.
He's described as around 30 years old, 5 feet, 8 inches tall, and between 200 to 240 pounds.
