The NYPD has released a photo of a man sought in connection with a slashing on a D train that took place earlier Thursday.
According to the NYPD, the man seen above is the individual who slashed a 38-year-old man on a northbound D train just after 10:15 a.m. Thursday.
Police say the victim was slashed in the face, chest, stomach and hands. He was taken to Bellevue Hospital and is in stable condition.
Investigators say a verbal dispute caused the incident, and a razor blade was later found inside the train.
Authorities say the suspect fled at the 42nd Street-Bryant Park station.
