The NYPD says it is confident it will make an arrest in the murder of a runner in Queens.

Officials say they continue to receive daily tips in the death of 30-year old Karina Vetrano.

She disappeared after going for a run in Spring Creek park in Howard Beach last month.

Her father later found her body in a marshy area.

Police say she was sexually assaulted and murdered.

"Since we put out the one report detailing the events of the crime, and I don't remember the day, we've gotten about 4 calls each day after that, so we're up to about 170 calls in this right now," said NYPD Chief of Detectives Robert Boyce. I think we have twelve open that we're vetting right now, so we wanna keep this going as we go forward. We have alot of perseverance in this case, we do believe we'll make an arrest in this case."

A reward of more than $300,000 is being offered to anyone with information leading to an arrest.

Anyone with information on the case should contact the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS, or text CRIMES and then enter TIP577, or visit www.nypdcrimestoppers.com.
