Nine city parks and playgrounds are getting spruced up.

They include Audubon Playground in Washington Heights and Harlem's Abraham Lincoln Playground.

That's in addition to four other parks in the Bronx, two in Brooklyn and one in Queens.

They join more than 60 other city parks that are set to undergo reconstruction.

It's part of the city's Community Parks Initiative, which Mayor Bill de Blasio and the Parks Department launched back in 2014 to improve parks in less affluent areas.

The slate of upgrades focus on expanding green space and community resources.

So far, the city has invested nearly $300 million in mayoral funding to the cause.
