Staten Island City Council member Debi Rose is urging the Staten Island Yankees to go back to the drawing board for a new name.
In a letter to the team, Rose said the five choices for a new name don't reflect the borough's character.
This after the team released its five finalists in its "Name Your Team" contest.
The picks are the Bridge Trolls, Heroes, Killer Bees, Pizza Rats and Rock Pigeons.
Rose offered her own suggestions including the Captains, Baby Bombers and Big Wheelers.
"We can have names we can be proud of and be whimsical, but the names that they chose really sound like something out of a zombie apocalypse and I was offended," the Councilwoman said.
The Yankees say the name that gets the most votes will be chosen.
