The NYPD officer accused of putting Eric Garner in a chokehold reportedly has seen a big boost in pay since Garner's death, even though he's on desk duty.

Multiple reports say Daniel Pantaleo earned nearly $120,000 between July 1, 2015 to June 30th of this year.

His base pay was a little over $78,000, but he picked up $23,000 in overtime and another $12,000 in unspecified pay.

Pantaleo has been on modified duty since Garner's death in 2014.

The NYPD says even those officers who are on modified assignment are sometimes required to work beyond their schedule.

Garner's daughter responded to the news of Pantateo's increased salary with a statement saying, "The news that Daniel Pantaleo has received extra pay and potential bonuses is extremely upsetting.  I have come to grips with the reality that this man has been walking free in NYC for the last two years and could potentially bump into myself or my daughter at any time."
