New Yorkers with outstanding warrants for low-level offenses will soon get a chance to wipe their slate clean.

The Bronx District Attorney's office says it's hosting the borough's first-ever "Another Chance" program this weekend.

Those with open warrants for minor offenses like drinking alcohol in public, trespassing or littering can get them removed from their record.

Officials say that record can affect applications for citizenship, jobs, and public housing units.

"This is your opportunity. Take charge and give yourself another chance. Clear up your record and stop looking over your shoulder, because you have an open warrant, instead look ahead for a brighter future," said Bronx DA Darcel Clark.

The event will take place Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Mount Hope Community Center on East 175th Street and Townsend Avenue.
