QUEENS, N.Y. - On Day 3 of the U.S. Open, men's top seed Novak Djokovic is hitting the court today while fourth-seeded Rafael Nadal will play his second round match tonight.

Women's second seed Angelique Kerber is also scheduled to play today.

Last night, number one women's seed Serena Williams needed just 63 minutes to win her first round match in straight sets.

Serena is looking for her 23rd grand slam title, which would break a tie with Steffi Graf for the most ever in the Open era.

Serena's older sister Venus, who is the women's sixth seed, won her first round match in three sets yesterday afternoon.

Venus has not won the U.S. Open since 2001.

On the men's side, number two seed Andy Murray easily won his match in straight sets last night.

Other men's winners include 3rd seed Stan Wawrinka and 6th seed Kei Nishikori.

Meanwhile, the signature drink of the U.S. Open is creating quite a buzz again this year.

The Honey Deuce is the tournament's answer to the Kentucky Derby's mint julep.

It's a mixture of Grey Goose vodka, raspberry liqueur and lemonade, garnished with honeydew melon.

Fans NY1 spoke with say it's a highlight of the event.

"I like the tennis balls. Yeah, there's honeydew on a stick and it's actually really good. Totally recommend it to anyone who's here at the open.//It's just as refreshing as can be on a hot summer day, it's awesome," said one fan.

The Honey Deuce has been the official drink of the U.S. Open since 2007.

Don't forget, NY1 anchor Pat Kiernan Kiernan is swapping the news desk for the tennis court this week.

He'll have special reports from the U.S. Open every day starting at 7 a.m.
