The NYPD says it will lead a parade in honor of officers who lost their lives as a result of the September 11th attacks.

It's happening Friday, September 9.

Officials say the march will start at lower Broadway and make its way to the Police Memorial Wall.

Twenty-three police officers were killed on September 11, 2001, and 99 more died from related illnesses.

Authorities say families of all 122 officers have been invited to march.
