A day after a college student from Brooklyn was stabbed to death upstate, the school is making a plea for witnesses to help track down the killer.

Ithaca College's president mourned 19-year-old Anthony Nazaire's death and urged anyone with knowledge of the incident to come forward.

Local police say Nazaire was one of two Ithaca College students who were stabbed on the campus of nearby Cornell University early Sunday morning.

Authorities say several hundred people had attended a student-organized event at Cornell, and that several fights broke out afterwards.

Nazaire was pronounced dead at the hospital.

The other student was treated for his injuries and released.

Family and friends gathered Sunday night for a candlelight vigil outside Nazaire's Flatbush home. Another vigil will be held tonight on the Ithaca College campus.

Nazaire was a sophomore studying business administration.
