Police are looking for a man who they say put a 12-year-old boy into a chokehold and robbed him in Brooklyn last Sunday.

Police said the boy was walking down a street around 12:30 p.m. in Brownsville when the man depicted in the sketch above approached him from behind and placed him in a chokehold.

The man then dragged the teen into a residential building near Sutter Ave. and Mother Gaston Blvd. and stole his iPhone, according to police.

The man fled the scene, police said. The boy was treated for minor injuries to his left leg at a local hospital.

The suspect is described as 18 years old, 6 feet tall, and wearing his hair in twists.
