A man stranded in the water in Raritan Bay on Thursday was rescued by NYPD Aviation after he fell off his jet ski.
A patrol helicopter spotted the 21-year-old victim off the coast of Kingsburg, New Jersey around 4:58 p.m. after NYPD Aviation received the radio call.
Two divers helped guide the man onto a basket attached to a cable that was lowered into the water to bring him into the helicopter.
The city police department said the man was taken to Staten Island University North Hospital for observation.
