Two men were arraigned Saturday after a Brooklyn candy store was found to be dealing in more than just sweets, according to authorities.

Police say state tax inspectors were doing a routine check of the Gates Candy and Grocery Store in Bushwick on Wednesday when they discovered drug paraphernalia, according to the city police department.

Police acted on that tip Thursday and raided the store.

They said they found heroin and other drugs, along with Ziploc bags, bottles, and $2,600 in cash.

Mohamad Ali and Hamdan Alsaidi were arraigned on drug trafficking, drug possession, and drug paraphernalia charges.
