Sources tell NY1 star and creator of the hit Broadway musical "Hamilton" will be taking his final bow next month.
According to sources, Lin-Manuel Miranda is leaving the show on July 9.
He has played the title of Alexander Hamilton since previews began last July.
Miranda's upcoming projects include music for a Disney cartoon and a film adaptation of his musical "In the Heights".
"Hamilton" recently scored 16 Tony nominations, three of them for Miranda's performance, his music and his lyrics.
