The American Museum of Natural History is opening a new exhibit, and it's one that you can really sink your teeth into.

"Crocs: Ancient Predators in a Modern World" will explore the lives of crocodilians and alligators.

Visitors will learn all about the crocs vast history as "ancient predators" as well as their biology and behavior.

Guests will also be able get an up close look at live reptiles, all while learning about conservation.

"It gives it a whole different dynamic to visits to the museum to the visitors. It's definitely engaging to see a live animal here as opposed to a diorama and so that really can inspire peoples imagination and can also inspire conservation and understanding of the animals," said AMNH Director of Living Exhibits Hazel Davies.

The exhibit opens to the public this Saturday and will run until January 2.
