A well known ice cream shop in Queens has gotten a touch up just in time for the summer.
Jahn's first opened shop in the Bronx in the late 1890's.
Once a chain with almost 30 parlors across the city, it's now down to just one shop.
The remaining location in Jackson Heights just underwent a makeover that's meant to take customers back through time.
"What we did was take it back a few years to how Jahn's would look in the 50's and 60's. With all the old stained glass, some gold leaf writing, more old fashioned you know, the way it used to be," said Jahn's Co-owner Nick Moukas.
Jahn's also serves up a full diner menu along with frozen yogurt.
