Several lanes on the Henry Hudson Parkway will be closed overnight as the city looks to repair a retaining wall near 125th Street.

The Department of Transportation says northbound lanes will be closed between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. Wednesday through Friday this week.

Lanes will also be closed Saturday from 1 a.m. to 9 a.m. and Saturday from 11 p.m. until 9 a.m. Sunday.

One northbound lane will remain open during the closures.

The 96th Street northbound entrance to the parkway will be closed.

Crews have been working on the wall since Tuesday after getting reports that it had been compromised.

The Parks Department says it's removing the decorative veneer that's pulling away from the more-than-85-year-old structure.

Back in May 2005, debris from a 150-foot retaining wall came crashing down onto the Parkway in Castle Village.
