CHARLOTTE -- On September 11th, 2001, New York City firefighter Stephen Siller ran toward the Twin Towers, knowing that he most likely would not see his family again.

Now 15 years later, Siller's family is keeping his legacy alive through various fundraising events.

One of them took place in Charlotte Saturday morning.

More than a hundred people climbed up the stairs of the Duke Energy building to raise money for the Stephen Siller Foundation.

Time Warner Cable News Reporter Yoojin Cho has the story.
