Seven firefighters suffered minor injuries battling a six-alarm fire that spread to multiple buildings and injured two residents in Brooklyn Sunday.

One resident is in stable but serious condition and another suffered minor injuries.

Authorities say flames broke out at 270 Arlington Avenue between Elton Street and Linwood Street in Cypress Hills Sunday evening.

They say the flames spread to four buildings total, including three homes and a church at the corner of the block.

Officials estimate that there were at least two apartments inside each of the homes.

The church was damaged but not destroyed.

Around 250 firefighters were called to the scene to bring the flames under control.

An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the fire.
