Fitness junkies are getting in shape with a new high-tech class in Manhattan.

Asphalt Green says their AG6 workout is the first of its kind in the country, after enjoying success across Europe.

Members participate in high-intensity cardio drills using pressure-sensitive walls and flickering LED lights that train muscle memory.

The 45 minute exercise can burn up to one thousand calories.

Instructors say the workout will keep you sharp both physically and mentally.

"When you're using the lights on the walls or the floor or the dots, you're using your mind to get you to move to that next movement. This is definitely designed to get you to that next level regardless of where you're at," said Asphalt Green Director of Fitness Jennifer Coccia.

The AG6 workout class opens to the public next week and will only be offered at Asphalt Green's location on the Upper East Side.
